Dr John Rocke is an ophthalmologist specialising in cataract surgery, medical retina disease and vitreoretinal surgery. He completed medical school at UWA and ophthalmology training in Victoria before undertaking advanced vitreoretinal and medical retina fellowships at the Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide and the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital in Melbourne.
Biography
He manages a wide range of medical retina and macular conditions, including diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration and retinal vein occlusions. Complementing cataract surgery he also performs surgery for retinal detachment, macular hole, epiretinal membrane as well as complex intraocular lens surgery.
Dr Rocke consults privately at South Street Eye Clinic and operates at St John of God Subiaco Eye Hospital and Perth Eye Hospital in West Perth. He also works publicly at Fremantle Hospital where he is involved with the teaching and supervision of the future generation of ophthalmologists.
